Pneumatic Speargun Shafts for Spearfishing, Freediving, and Scuba Diving

Product Description Manufactured specifically for speargun shafts, these hardened, spring-tempered stainless steel 17-4PH shafts have a Rockwell hardness of 44C. They offer the perfect combination of hardness and spring tension while also being resistant to oxidation. Measuring 5/16" (8mm) in diameter, they feature a Rock point on one end and 6mm threads on the other.

The spear comes equipped with a specially manufactured 2 angle cut Speartip "Rockpoint" that ensures great penetration and stays sharp longer when hitting hard surfaces like rocks and shipwrecks. Additionally, it includes a stainless steel heavy-duty, thick gauge 3" barb/flopper, stainless steel slide ring, stainless steel spring, plastic line retainer, and stainless steel threaded butt adapter.

These 8mm (5/16") spears are compatible with pneumatic spearguns that come from the factory with an 8mm (5/16") spear. Their thicker design makes them stronger and more rigid, preventing heavier fish from bending the spear and increasing accuracy. Just make sure to select the appropriate end adapter for your speargun.

There are different end adapters available to suit various spearguns, including the Mares Cyrano adapter which can also be used with other spearguns that originally came with a 7mm spear. The adapter can be easily replaced to use the spear with different brands and models of pneumatic spearguns. These 7.1mm (9/2") spears are compatible with many pneumatic spearguns that originally came with an 8mm (5/16") spear, as long as the correct end adapter is chosen.
