Cressi Start Jacket Style BCD for Scuba Diving from Italy

The Start BCD is crafted with durability in mind, utilizing 1000 Denier Cordura for the outside panel and 500 Denier for the inside layer. This makes it an ideal choice for Dive Centers where jackets are frequently inflated to maximum capacity. The shoulder strap prominently displays the size for easy reference. The Denier Nylon Cordura material is specifically chosen for its resistance to erosion from long-term friction, prolonging the life of weldings due to its superior hardness compared to regular Nylon.

The waist strap is designed to operate independently from the air bladder, allowing for easy adjustment without discomfort to the diver's stomach during inflation. The inflator features a double air filtration system, ensuring cleanliness by filtering particles both under the hose connection stem and around the valve. It can be easily rinsed to remove sand and debris, maintaining optimal performance.

The backplate system is constructed from ultra-durable thermoplastic, offering strength and compactness for lightness in weight. A rubber damper aids in securing the tank, with the option to add a second tank strap for extra stability. Each BCD comes with a nylon locator strap to ensure consistent and proper tank positioning.

For buoyancy adjustment, there are three exhaust valves placed strategically for easy access in any position. Two large cargo pockets with Velcro closure provide ample storage, each equipped with a compartment for holding a pressure gauge and octopus. Additionally, there are four 32mm technopolymer D-rings available, with one positioned above and one at the bottom of each pocket.
